Questa è la mia classifica, ovviamente non tutti potrebbero concordare!
C'è anche da dire che non ho ascoltato tutta la musica che esiste, e che quindi ho dimenticato sicuramente qualcuno che merita di essere nominato..ma questa è la classifica degli album che mi hanno influenzato, quindi..e poi tutti tutti non ci stavano!!!

Capitolo primo. "Adorava New York. La idolatrava smisuratamente..." No, è meglio "la mitizzava smisuratamente", ecco. "Per lui, in qualunque stagione, questa era ancora una città che esisteva in bianco e nero e pulsava dei grandi motivi di George Gershwin..." No, fammi cominciare da capo... Capitolo primo. "Era troppo romantico riguardo a Manhattan, come lo era riguardo a tutto il resto: trovava vigore nel febbrile andirivieni della folla e del traffico. Per lui New York significava belle donne, tipi in gamba che apparivano rotti a qualsiasi navigazione..." Eh no, stantio, roba stantia, di gusto... insomma, dai, impegnati un po' di più... da capo. Capitolo primo. "Adorava New York. Per lui era una metafora della decadenza della cultura contemporanea: la stessa carenza di integrità individuale che porta tanta gente a cercare facili strade stava rapidamente trasformando la città dei suoi sogni in una..." Non sarà troppo predicatorio? Insomma, guardiamoci in faccia: io questo libro lo devo vendere. Capitolo primo. "Adorava New York, anche se per lui era una metafora della decadenza della cultura contemporanea. Com'era difficile esistere, in una società desensibilizzata dalla droga, dalla musica a tutto volume, televisione, crimine, immondizia..." Troppo arrabbiato. Non devo essere arrabbiato. Capitolo primo. "Era duro e romantico come la città che amava. Dietro i suoi occhiali dalla montatura nera, acquattata ma pronta al balzo, la potenza sessuale di una tigre..." Feature:
This guitar has everything you need. A full stack of tone and volume controls, dual humbuckers, a set neck and an extremely nice finish. Looks awesome!!For the price range, the cosmetics are very nice; the color and texture of the cherry flame finish looks really cool! The pickups are factory stock Gibson PAF’s and they sound great; I’d never replace them unless they went out. You would tested both pickups on an output meter and they were “hot”, peaking at 15; that’s pretty good (and loud) for stock pickups!
Quality:
The quality of the electronics can be improved on this guitar to level it with competition.Sounds like a much more expensive guitar. Very clean when distortion is off, sounds really great when heavy distortion is on. Great with effects, sounds better than indie’s, rock, fenders.
Sound:
It sounds pretty good right out of the box, but the suggestion may you would strongly replacing the strings and taking it for a professional setup, it makes a big difference. The wood is great, and you can get good tone from it, there are better Les Paul, with better wood and pickups for more money, but this should satisfy all players who don’t have extra money to throw around. Your guitar teacher will very impress with this guitar.Value:

Questo film è lo sviluppo del finto trailer presente nei primi minuti del film Grindhouse - Planet Terror dello stesso Rodriguez. Il personaggio di Machete è inoltre simile al personaggio di Zio Machete (interpretato dallo stesso Trejo) presente nel film Spy Kids di Robert Rodriguez.

Dexter
Il sangue. Per la prima volta il sangue è il protagonista di una serie tv. Sia esso su un vetrino o o sparso qua e là sulla scena di un crimine. E poi c’è lui Dexter, un ematologo del Dipartimento di Polizia di Miami, che il sangue lo interpreta, lo legge, e lo sparge. Da bambino uccideva gli animali, e avrebbe anche ucciso delle persone se non avesse avuto rispetto del giudizio dei genitori. Solo dopo un attento discorso con il padre, cosciente delle anomalie psicologiche del figlio, Dexter si convince che il suo scopo nella vita sarà quello di eliminare solo persone cattive, come ad esempio dei serial killer.
Gli episodi della serie, andata in onda per la prima volta negli Stati Uniti il 1° ottobre 2006, sono introdotti sempre da una voce fuori campo, che esprime i pensieri del protagonista, e mostra allo spettatore una natura positiva che sfugge ai semplicismi da Giustiziere della notte.
Il successo di Dexter, deve principalmente ricercarsi nel paradossale rapporto del personaggio principale con la morte, con se stesso e con gli altri. L’equilibrio di bene e male, tipico degli eroi attuali, rappresentato da un’indole superficialmente innocua e da una malata attrazione per il sangue (in parte ricorda Patrick Bateman di American Psycho di Bret Easton Ellis, preso come pseudonimo da Dexter), fa di Dexter un uomo dei segreti, rivelati solo a chi è di fronte allo schermo.

Primus - John the fisherman
Storia del gruppo dal 1984 al 1990
La prima formazione del gruppo (nota con il nome di Primate) era composta da Les Claypool al basso e da Todd Huth alla chitarra, e si formò nel 1984. Per ovviare alla mancanza del batterista Claypool utilizzava una drum machine, ma per la realizzazione del loro primo demo si unì il batterista Perm Parker. Nonostante non fossero un gruppo thrash metal, vennero accostati durante questi anni alla scena thrash della Bay Area. E grazie al fatto di fare da supporto in concerto a gruppi come Testament ed Exodus, il gruppo riuscì a crearsi un discreto seguito di fan.Dopo essersi fatti un nome nella locale scena musicale grazie al loro particolare funk metal, Todd Huth e il batterista del periodo Jay Lane lasciarono il gruppo nel 1989 per dedicarsi ad altri progetti. Entrarono a far parte del gruppo in loro sostituzione il chitarrista Larry "Ler" LaLonde (chitarrista che faceva parte del gruppo death metal Possessed, ed allievo di Joe Satriani) ed il batterista Tim "Herb" Alexander (facente parte precedentemente dei Major Lingo, gruppo ska).
Nel 1989 il terzetto riesce a pubblicare il suo primo album, Suck on This, un album live che documenta le esibizioni al Berkeley Square di Berkeley del 25 febbraio e del 5 marzo del 1989. Una parte dei pezzi presenti in questo live la ritroveremo nel primo album registrato in studio dal gruppo, Frizzle Fry, pubblicato nel 1990. Da questo album verranno tratti i singoli John the Fisherman, Too Many Puppies e Mr. Knowitall. Grazie alla realizzazione di questo album, ad un videoclip (John the Fisherman) che ospita Kirk Hammett, e ad una tournée con i Jane's Addiction, il gruppo conquista sempre maggiore popolarità, tanto da attirare l'etichetta Interscope Records che li mette sotto contratto sempre durante il 1990.

Buckethead
Uno dei miei chitarristi preferiti.
Brian Carroll, meglio conosciuto con lo pseudonimo di Buckethead (1969), è un chitarrista statunitense, attivo in molti generi musicali incluso heavy metal, funk, jazz, ambient, musica minimalista e sperimentale.
Buckethead è conosciuto soprattutto per la sua abilità con la chitarra elettrica, tanto da essere citato all'ottavo posto nella classifica che la rivista Guitar One ha riservato ai chitarristi tecnicamente più veloci di tutti i tempi. Suona anche il basso, il banjo e il pianoforte.
Da persona schiva, Carroll ha costruito il personaggio di Buckethead in modo da fornirgli dei connotati iconografici che proteggano il suo anonimato. Il soprannome è dovuto al "cappello" che indossa in pubblico: un comune secchiello (bucket significa appunto secchio) per pollo fritto della nota catena di fast food statunitense Kentucky Fried Chicken (KFC). A questo è sovrapposta una scritta che recita FUNERAL, scherzando con la sua fantasiosa autobiografia che lo vorrebbe allevato e cresciuto in un pollaio.

Skin Thin
Ben Harper's new video
"Friend and filmmaker Daniel Stessen was so inspired by the track "Skin Thin" off Ben Harper & Relentless7's latest album, White Lies for Dark Times, that he decided to make a mini film to tell a story of this moving song. The film was shot mainly in Fulton, NY, about an hour north of his hometown of Syracuse.
Filming the piece was a unique adventure in itself. Stessen describes the places they shot as "the type of places where you have to have three beers with anyone for them to trust you." He arrived blindly to each location with only the story in mind, shaking hands and making new friends along the way, and crafting the film with what was available - only staging the actions. The lead character was based on Stessen's best friend, who lives and works in the places shown in the film. The female lead was discovered working behind the counter at a pizza shop where the director had lunch just before filming began."

Memento è un film sull'ossessione e sulla devianza, puzzle scomposto e spesso impenetrabile come una memoria senza appigli, in caduta libera sulla scoscesa e friabile collina della fallibilità umana. L'originalità del film non è tanto nella storia - un personaggio problematico, un emarginato dalla malattia - ma nel modo di narrarla, il vero fiore all'occhiello di questa pellicola è il come, il montaggio, la scelta di dividere il film in blocchi corrispondenti a tempi narrativi diversi - il bianco e nero per il monologo interiore, il colore per la storia nell'intrecciarsi di personaggi ricorrenti - e la spiazzante idea di mostrarci la storia dalla sua fine e di procede a ritroso, in senso inverso, verso il principio di tutto.

Trasmissioni consigliate
Dopo una settimana trascorsa a letto (causa influenza) a vedere il peggio della programmazione televisiva nazionale, mi sento di consigliare la visione di questi programmi:
- I soliti idioti (MTV)
Quest'anno oltre ai mitici "Father & Son", mi fa schiattare dalle risate il nuovo "Mamma esco" nel quale dei bambini con degli zaini enormi parlano di sesso e droga sulla porta d'ingresso di casa e interagiscono con i genitori che sono in altre stanze urlando come matti e intrattendendo discorsi parecchio espliciti..Fighe anche le gag della serie "Rinnovamento della chiesa".

- Sugo (RAI4)
Strana trasmissione condotta direttamente in un bagno..gli inviati vengono mandati a svolgere i loro servizi direttamente nei cessi che sono "porte iperdimensionali" verso altri luoghi...

Trasmissione dove si parla di cinema ma in modo serio..belle le puntate di approfondimento su un attore o un regista in particolare (mi sembra che in quel caso la trasmissione si chiami Cinepatici SuXGeeks)

Although Bruce Lee officially closed his martial arts schools two years before his death, he allowed his curriculum to be taught privately. Since his death, Jeet Kune Do is argued to have split into different groups. Allegedly they are:
- The Original (or Jun Fan) JKD branch, whose proponents include Taky Kimura, James Lee, Jerry Poteet, and Ted Wong; these groups claim to teach what was believed to be only what was taught by Bruce Lee, and encourage the student to further develop his or her abilities through those teachings. The inherent training principles of this branch are shaped by the static concept of what was "originally taught", just as the training systems of "traditional" martial arts have been taught for centuries and become recognizable as "styles", except it is referred to as a philosophy of "style without style". But most masters believe that Bruce Lee never truly taught anyone the art of Jeet Kune Do
- The JKD Concepts branch, whose proponents include Dan Inosanto, Richard Bustillo, Larry Hartsell; these groups strive to continue the philosophy of individual self-expression through re-interpretation of combat systems through the lens of Jeet Kune Do, under the concept that it was never meant to be a static art but rather an ongoing evolution, and have incorporated elements from many other martial arts into the main fold of its teachings (most notably, grappling and Kali/Escrima material) based on the individual's personal preferences and physical attributes. The entire JKD "system" can be described through a simple diagram, and the concepts can then be applied to a variety of contexts in a "universal" way.

Although born in Chile, singer/songwriter José González later relocated to Sweden, where he became nationally renowned for his mix of autumnal indie pop and intimate acoustics. Following stints with hardcore bands during the 1990s, he officially launched his solo career with the release of 2003's Veneer, an entirely acoustic affair that reflected a childhood spent listening to equal parts bossa nova, classical, and post-punk by the likes of Joy Division. Touchstones for González's sound included Nick Drake, Paul Simon, Red House Painters, and Elliott Smith, and his popularity soon spread overseas, with Veneer receiving an American release in 2005.
José González's stateside prospects were aided by the appearance of his song "Crosses" in the season-ending episode of The O.C. The title track from his 2006 EP, Stay in the Shade, was also featured in the show. Stay in the Shade displayed a move away from the bedroom sound of González's first album, yet it still maintained the same caliber of songcraft and performance. In 2005, González joined with organist Elias Araya and drummer Tobias Winterkorn to form Junip, and the group released an EP at the end of the year and a full-length album in 2006. He returned to his solo career the following year, however, with the release of In Our Nature.
